I'm... a freelance developer/consultant. It's a fun gig, as the work never gets old. I'm also the newest (I think) member of the WhyGoSolo development team. Huzzah.

I strongly dislike long walks on the beach, as they remind me of an incident involving a bucket and a bully when I lived in Hawaii as a small child. Candlelight dinners are okay, so long as they are unscented (the candles, not the dinner). Please, however, refrain from any monkey business during movies. I likely paid $7.50 because I want to see the film.

I'm an Apple fan, and if you know anything about usability and operating systems, you probably would be too, if you gave it a chance. If you're buying a Windows machine because it's cheap, you are likely unqualified to argue with me. If you're buying a Windows machine because of the gaming, I'm likely unqualified to argue with you. If you enjoy setting up beowulf clusters, distributed systems, or high speed shared memory caches, we're probably on the same page, so we can skip the OS X argument and just agree on Linux.

I spend way too much money on books, music, and sweetened coffee products. My bookshelf, wallet, and gut are a testament to this statement.
